Sports and creativity have always interested me. I love watching sports, especially women’s basketball, and seeing how teams and athletes connect with their fans. As a Communications major, I find it interesting how social media, photography, and public relations help bring attention to sports. One of my favorite teams is the New York Liberty, and I hope to work in sports public relations someday.
I also enjoy being creative through photography, design, and social media. I think pictures are a great way to tell stories and capture important moments. Whether it is a basketball game, a beautiful view, or something happening in everyday life, photography can communicate so much without using words. I hope to continue exploring these interests throughout college and in my future career.

The Importance of Creativity
One quote that connects to my interests comes from photographer Dorothea Lange:
“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.”
This quote reminds me how photography can help people notice details and tell stories. I think this is especially important in sports and social media because one photograph can capture a moment that connects with so many people.
